An express bus company in Daejeon is controversial because the driver who tested positive for the corona virus continues to operate.

TJB reporter Kim Cheol-jin reports exclusively, saying that there was no one to take turns and had the passengers go out once more.

Driver A, who lives in a dormitory with his colleagues and drives an intercity bus.

On the 19th of last month, while driving a bus, I reported this to the company when I felt symptoms such as cough and fever.

[Mr. A / Intercity bus driver: There was a tingling in the throat from the bronchus itself, so it was similar to the symptoms of Corona.

I thought I would not be able to drive, so I called the sales office in advance (I called.)]

After the operation, the rapid antigen test at the terminal showed a positive result, and Mr. A informed the company of this fact to change the next operation.

But the reply that came back was that there was no one to take turns.

[Calling from C-Bus company official: You shouldn't be shifting right away.

I'll send someone up tomorrow.

I have to do that (shift) tomorrow morning, how do I...

In the end, Mr. A was able to go to the public health center after carrying the passengers one more time, and after receiving the final confirmation, he went into quarantine for a week.

In a situation where not only his colleagues who lived together in the dormitory, but also the driver who drove his own bus were additionally confirmed, Mr. A is just angry at the company's negligent response.

[Mr. A/Intercity bus driver: The passenger bus, which should be driven with respect for the safety and life of customers, does not properly prevent quarantine, and even though the driver and crew reported to the company that it was caught, no action was taken…

The company said that it was the manual to replace the article if symptoms suspected of Corona appeared, but when the reporter asked about Mr. A's case, he replied that he could not keep the manual because it was difficult to replace.
