The flight recorders of two trainers that crashed in mid-air during flight training in Sacheon, Gyeongnam on the 1st, were collected.

The flight recorder, so-called 'black box', contains information such as the passengers' voices and detailed altitude and speed, and is considered a key material for identifying the cause of the accident.

If it is recovered safely, it will be of great help to determine the exact cause of the accident.

The Air Force is speeding up the investigation into the truth by precisely analyzing the data recorded on the flight recorders of the two trainers.

Meanwhile, work to clean up the wreckage of the accident training plane has continued for several days near the site.

About 200 troops from the 3rd Wing of the Air Force are currently deployed in and around Okdong Village, Jeongdong-myeon, Sacheon-si, Gyeongsangnam-do, where the wreckage of the accident training plane is estimated to be scattered.

Due to the wide scope of the search, the task is expected to take several days to complete.

The funeral ceremony for the four passengers killed in the accident will be held privately this morning at the Ahn Chang-nam Cultural Center of the 3rd Training Wing.
