Today (31st) around 7:50 am, there was an accident where a bus carrying a drama production team collided with a dump truck on Jayu-ro in the direction of Munsan, Songchon-dong, Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do.



A man in his 30s who was on the bus died in the accident, and 3 people were seriously injured and 7 people were taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.



It is said that the bus was carrying the production staff of the tvN drama 'Chosun Psychiatrist Yoo Se-poong', which is scheduled to be broadcast in the second half of this year.



According to an official from the drama production company, a total of 10 people, including one driver, were on the bus for 'Chosun psychiatrist Yoo Se-poong', which was heading to the Paju studio for filming at the time.



One PD from the directing department died, and two directing staff and one equipment staff were seriously injured.



The dump truck driver was not seriously injured.




The accident caused severe congestion for about three and a half hours as the surrounding three to four lane roads were controlled.



Authorities also carried out oil spills from dump trucks.



Road control was lifted around 11:30 a.m.



The accident occurred when a dump truck from a gas station entered lane 3 of a 4-lane road and collided with a bus that was going straight in the 3-lane road.



Police are investigating the exact cause of the accident, including whether the bus was speeding.



A drama official said, "All scheduled filming for today has been canceled and we are currently doing our best to deal with the injured and the accident. The filming schedule will be discussed in the future."
