A man in his 30s was arrested by the police after posting a fake article saying he was selling goods on an internet second-hand trading site and receiving 30 million won from hundreds of people.



According to Incheon Bupyeong Police Station, it was announced today (30th) that 30-year-old Jung Mo was arrested on suspicion of fraud and is being investigated.



From mid-November last year to early March of this year, for about four months, Jung posted a fake article on the 'Jonggo-Nara' site saying that he was selling shredders, etc.



So far, only 166 victims have been deceived by Jung and sent money.



Damages amounted to 32 million won.



After receiving a report of damage from Jung, the police started a full-scale investigation, and arrested Jung after identifying the crime by tracking his phone number.



As a result of the police investigation, it was found that Jung sent threatening messages to the victims.



The police applied for a preliminary arrest warrant against A, and it was issued on the 24th.



The police are investigating whether A has committed another crime.
