The first trial court sentenced a man in his 20s who assaulted and stunned a man in his 50s while riding in a luxury imported car, saying that it obstructs traffic.

The Seoul Southern District Court announced yesterday (27th) that it had sentenced a 25-year-old man charged with personal injury to six months in prison.

Person A is charged with inflicting injuries to three weeks in the front, such as assaulting and stunning B, who was in his 50s, in front of a crosswalk in Geumcheon-gu, Seoul last July.

At the time, Mr. A was on the way to the passenger seat of a Porsche car driven by an acquaintance, and Mr. B, who was standing in front of the crosswalk, said abusive words, "Hey, this is XXX" because it was obstructing vehicle traffic.

When Mr. B protested, Mr. A got out of the passenger seat and had a fight with Mr. B, grabbed Mr. B's waist, lifted it, and threw it on the floor.

After that, when Mr. B tried to get up, Mr. A hit Mr. B's head with his foot, and Mr. B, who hit his head on the floor, fainted for about 1 minute.

As a result of this assault, Mr. B suffered injuries such as bruises on the back of the head and was reported to have been hospitalized for 3 weeks.

At the trial, Mr. A argued to the effect that his assault did not lead to his harm, but the court did not accept this.

The court said, "The accused has a history of being punished for violent crimes several times in a short period of time from around 2017 to around 2019." I committed the crime in this case again, so a corresponding punishment is necessary."
