“Tik Tok” decides to feature “Stories” in the way of “Snapchat”

The Tik Tok platform decided to continue experimenting with Snapchat stories, with the company rolling out the feature to a larger group of users.

The platform previously confirmed that the feature was under testing last summer.

And if you do, you'll be greeted with a new banner when you launch the app encouraging you to create a story.

In a statement, the platform indicated that it is currently expanding the beta test that provides content creators with additional formats to bring their creative ideas to life for the Tik Tok community.

These videos have the same creation options as regular TikTok videos, allowing you to respond to comments, use filters, and more, according to Okaz.

And unlike regular platform video, Stories will not appear directly in your account or feed, and will last for 24 hours before being automatically deleted.

It seems that the feature is officially rolled out to the entire user base of the platform is becoming a matter of time, given the popularity of Stories in other social media applications, and the ongoing testing of the platform.
