The effect of disciplinary action against Hana Financial Group Vice Chairman Ham Young-joo (former Hana Bank President), who lost the first trial in the disciplinary cancellation lawsuit, will be suspended until the appeals court decides.

Administrative Division 4-1 of the Seoul High Court (Judge Kwon Ki-hoon, Han Kyu-hyun, Kim Jae-ho) decided to suspend the execution of the censure warning, citing the application of Vice Chairman Ham, on the 24th.

Vice Chairman Ham received a warning from the financial authorities for incompletely selling overseas interest rate-linked derivative-linked funds (DLFs) while serving as president of Hana Bank.

Accordingly, Vice Chairman Ham filed an administrative lawsuit in June 2020 and applied for suspension of execution to the effect of temporarily stopping the effect of the disciplinary action.

Vice-Chairman Ham appealed against the ruling and applied for suspension of execution again.
