At a nursing home in Gyeonggi-do, there was a report that an 80-year-old woman was assaulted by a caregiver and seriously injured.

The police launched an investigation.

On the morning of the 5th, a nursing home in Icheon, Gyeonggi-do.



Nursing care worker Mr. A, a woman in her 60s, pushes a small wagon filled with her drinks and enters the room where her grandmother B in her 80s is.



After a while, Mr. A comes out of the room.



B's son later heard a shocking story on the phone with her mother.



It is said that she was severely assaulted by Mr. A.



[Mr. B: Oh, my mom is going to die.

(B's son: Where does it hurt?) Team leader X beats me and beats me.

I'm going to die.]



My son, who was surprised, called the nursing home, and the nursing home responded with the intention of reassurance that nothing was going on.



Mr. B swung her filial son while refusing to drink her drink, and the guardian in charge said that it was well dried.



The son interviewed her mother the next day was startled.



He had bruises all over his hands, face and shoulders.



A hospital examination revealed a six-week anterior diagnosis, including fractures of both his clavicles.




[B's son: I think he took (the filial son) and hit him in the face and took it with his knee so he couldn't get up.

I closed the door, put a blanket on them, and yelled at them, so I was beaten again...

The family said that they were usually told that Mr. A used abusive language.



[B's son: (mother) heard an insulting story.

After the incident, the caregiver in charge did not change, so no separation measures were taken.



[B's son: (I'm going the next day) The team leader told her mother it was time to eat and was going to take her.]



Three days after the incident, the nursing home reported it to the senior protection agency and fired Mr. A.



The nursing home side explained, "He was a caregiver who had no problems normally, and on the day of the accident, he trusted the caregiver and did not understand the situation properly."



A's family explained, "At the time, my mother, who was a guardian, was assaulted while calming Mr. B." He explained, "I had surgery in January and I am not in a state of health that can hit anyone."



The police booked the caregiver on charges of personal injury, and today (23rd) visited the victim and heard a statement.
