At around 8:30 am today, 11 vehicles slipped on the snow and collided at a point 145 km in the Yangyang direction of the Yangyang Expressway.



Five people were injured in the accident and received treatment at the hospital.



In the aftermath of the accident management, there was a severe traffic jam for nearly two hours near the accident site.



Reports were received from insurance companies saying that they could not go on the road on the highway after going out on the road without winter equipment installed.



The Korea Meteorological Administration predicted that by tonight, 2 to 7 cm of snow would fall in the mountainous areas of Gangwon, 1 to 5 cm in the northeastern mountains of Gyeongsangbuk-do, and about 1 cm more in southern Gangwon and the east coast of Gangwon and the east coast of northern Gyeongsangbuk-do.
