Police arrested a 20-year-old who hit a stray cat against a wall several times while riding a bicycle because he almost had an accident. 



Jeonbuk Sunchang Police Station announced today (7th) that they are investigating a man in his 20s on charges of violating the Animal Protection Act.



Person A is suspected of holding a stray cat by the neck and hitting the wall several times in a residential area in Sunchang-eup, Sunchang-gun, around 1 pm on the 25th of last month. 



At the time, it was understood that A committed the crime by targeting the gap in which the cat was eating. 




The police arrested A on the 5th after receiving a resident report that "a man abused a cat" and analyzed nearby CCTVs. 



It is reported that Mr. A stated in the police investigation, "I was riding a bicycle and I was angry because I almost had an accident because of the cat."



The life or death of the stray cat who was abused by Mr. A has not been confirmed yet.
