From today (the 5th), the closing hours of multi-use facilities, such as cafes and restaurants, which are under business restrictions due to COVID-19, will be extended from 10:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. by one hour.

Business hours will increase due to the easing of social distancing, but the number of people at private gatherings will be maintained at a maximum of 6 people.

According to the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters, from this day on, nightlife facilities, restaurants/cafes, singing (coin) practice areas, bathhouses, indoor sports facilities, PC rooms, multi-rooms and arcades, party rooms, casinos, massage parlors/massages, and lifelong occupations 12 types of multi-use facilities such as educational institutes, movie theaters, and performance halls will extend the business hours by one hour.

On the 18th of last month, the government extended the business hours of restaurants and cafes by one hour from 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., but it was extended by another hour after two weeks.

This is a measure to ease the distance due to the judgment that while the effectiveness of the distance has decreased while the quarantine system has been reorganized to match Omicron, the damage to the livelihood economy such as the self-employed and small businesses continues to grow.

Private meetings are limited to a maximum of 6 people.

Gatherings of 6 or more are allowed if you are a family living together or need care for children, the elderly, or the disabled.

As the quarantine pass was lifted from the 1st, the restrictions on events and assemblies were partially relaxed.

Events and gatherings in which non-vaccinated persons have been allowed to participate have been limited to 49 people.

Irregular performances, sports competitions, and festivals with more than 300 people can be held with the approval of the relevant ministries as before. The limit on the number of people has been removed on condition that they comply.

For regular religious activities such as masses, liturgical meetings, worship services and sealing ceremonies, regardless of whether or not vaccinations are carried out, gathering within 70% of the facility's capacity is sufficient.

This distancing measure will be in effect for about two weeks until the 20th.
