The police responded to a report from a nearby resident saying "Mr. A is lighting a fire with a torch" and rushed to the scene and arrested Mr. A.



In addition, at the time of arrest, a helmet, torch, and ax were confiscated from Mr. A as evidence.



Residents' 112 reports were received at 1:07 a.m. today, and it is said that immediately after his arrest, Mr. A admitted to his crimes to the police.



The police believe that Mr. A set fires with a torch etc. in two places, including his house, and plan to investigate the exact circumstances.



At 1:08 a.m. today, a fire from a house in Namyang-ri, Okgye-myeon, Gangneung-si, moved to a nearby mountain, and the fire is spreading in the direction of Mangsang and Balhan-dong of the East Sea with strong winds.
