As of 4 pm on the 4th, the nationwide advance turnout was 14.11%.

With two hours left until the voting deadline, the turnout rate on the first day of early voting at the time of the 19th presidential election in 2017 has already exceeded 11.7%.

It seems that the fact that the opposition and opposition parties appealed to supporters to vote in advance had an impact.

In addition, as the number of new confirmed COVID-19 cases surpassed 200,000 a day, it also played a role in the fact that more voters choose to vote in advance rather than the main voting, which is crowded with many people.

Among major metropolitan governments, Jeonnam recorded the highest at 23.3%, and Seoul recorded 13.75%.

The region with the lowest turnout was Gyeonggi-do with 12.05% as of 4 o'clock, followed by Daegu with 12.21%.

Early voting tomorrow is also possible at 3,552 polling places across the country from 6 am to 6 pm, regardless of address as long as you have an ID.

Advance voting booths have also been set up at Seoul Station, Yongsan Station, and Incheon International Airport.

Those who are confirmed or quarantined with COVID-19 can vote at a separate temporary voting booth set up at the advance polling station tomorrow from 5pm to 6pm.

Along with your ID, you must bring a notice related to the advance voting by the quarantine authorities or a message to notify you of positive PCR test.

The location of the advance polling place can be checked on the website of the National Election Commission or the portal site.
