There was also a big fire today (the 4th) in Seoul.

About three hours ago, a fire broke out at the entrance of Guryong Village, Gangnam-gu, and is spreading to nearby hills.

Residents have been evacuated, and the city bus from the garage near Guryong Village has been moved to another location.

We will connect you right away.

Reporter Park Chan-beom, the light hasn't gone out yet.

I am now at the site of Guryong Village.

Now, the fire started from the side of the private house and has spread to this mountain.

Fire trucks surround the entrance to the village.

The fire broke out at around 5:10 pm today inside a private house in Guryong Village.

The fire has spread to the nearby hillside, that is, to the middle of Daemosan Mountain, with strong winds.

All 7 households in this village were burned down, but fortunately, all 9 residents inside were evacuated on their own.

There were no casualties either.

I'm more worried as it's getting dark, but when will the fire be put out?

The fire department is concentrating on putting out the fire in about an hour after issuing the second stage of response, which involves mobilizing even the nearest fire station as soon as a fire breaks out.

Now, in the situation where the fire has spread to this forest fire, we are focusing on putting out this part on the side of the forest fire rather than a private house.

One Forest Service was put in that night, but it was withdrawn because visibility was not secured.

Currently, there are gas filling stations nearby, so you can't relax.

There is a garage near Guryong Village where buses that have completed their route operation are parked.

There was also an urgent situation in which all city buses were pulled out for fear that the fire would spread to the garage.

As vehicles from work and firefighting vehicles flocked to each other, severe traffic congestion occurred on the roads around the area.
