As the guidelines have recently changed, even if a family member living with you gets Corona, other people do not have to isolate.

However, contrary to the policy of the authorities, some schools or workplaces require PCR testing.

Parent A, who lives in Gyeonggi-do, was confirmed on the 24th of last month.

My middle school child was about to start school, but I thought that there would be no problems with the second dose of vaccination.

The school said it was possible to go to school, but put conditions on it.

[Parents: (not rapid antigen test) I'm asking you to get a PCR test.

At school, they say, 'I came down like this from the Ministry of Education, so get a PCR and submit it'...

.]

However, PCR tests were not available at public health centers or screening clinics.

This is because family members living with the confirmed person have been excluded from the list since the 1st.

[Health center staff: In the case of a person living with you, you are not subject to the PCR test, so it is not possible to live with a confirmed person...

.]

A's child has to pay around 100,000 won at a hospital or clinic to undergo a PCR test.

Similar cases continue in the workplace.

Family members living with the confirmed patient can go to work with only manual monitoring for 7 days.

It is only recommended to undergo a PCR test within 3 days after the confirmation of a family member living together and a rapid antigen test on the 7th day.

Some companies require their employees to undergo PCR testing before going to work if there are many confirmed cases.

The cost is at your own expense.

Contrary to government policy, quarantine standards and PCR testing obligations are being applied.

However, all foreigners entering the country must be quarantined at home or at a facility for 7 days.

The only exception is if you are coming from Singapore or Saipan that have a quarantine exemption agreement.

The government is also considering lifting the quarantine on entry if a history of vaccination is confirmed.
