It took only 30 seconds to get out of the car and get back on again. At the dawn of the 20th of last month, a man in his 20s, A, stole 7 luxury mobile phones worth 10 million won from a mobile phone store in Jung-gu, Daejeon.



Mr. A abandoned the vehicle he had rented in his name in an alley about 300m from where he committed the crime, and then fled and fled.



The police confirmed that Mr. A had borrowed a car again in the course of the escape and caught Mr. A, who fled to Cheongju, North Chungcheong 20 hours after the crime.

In the police investigation, Mr. A stated that he committed a crime because he was in debt due to a rental car accident, and that the stolen cell phone worth 10 million won was re-sold for 2 million won.



The damage to stores and rental cars that were damaged due to Mr. A's crime reached over 20 million.



The police arrested Mr. A on charges of special theft, and the dealership who purchased the stolen cell phone at up to half the retail price is also suspected of acquiring stolen property and is continuing the investigation.
