Twenty-nine helicopters were launched until the sun went down, but the fire was not put out.

Residents of nearby villages were evacuated.



About 60 residents of Hapcheon, Gyeongsangnam-do and about 40 residents of Goryeong, North Gyeongsang, stayed up all night at the village hall, etc.
