"We are selling kits that have tested positive. Get PCR comfortably."

As the spread of Corona 19 in Korea continues every day, an article on the online second-hand trading site that illegally sells kits with positive results is controversial.

The author of the article in question briefly wrote, "Get PCR comfortably," while posting that self-inspection kits are being sold in the 'Other used goods' field.

The sales amount was not specified.

The second-hand trading platform immediately deleted the post when the self-inspection kit, a prohibited item, came up as a trade item.

The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety has temporarily banned the online sale of self-test kits until the 5th of next month and has requested that they be purchased at pharmacies and convenience stores.

The reason behind the posting of illegal sales of positive kits is that not everyone can undergo PCR testing due to the changed standards.

From the beginning of this month, the government has launched the 'Omicron response phase' focusing on early diagnosis and treatment of high-risk groups.

In the Omicron response stage, a new quarantine system, the general public, except for high-risk groups such as those over the age of 60, can receive PCR testing only when the rapid antigen test or self-test kit is positive.

Even if the self-test kit is negative, you can have a PCR test if you wish, but you will have to pay around 100,000 won.

Netizens who heard the news of the 'positive kit sale' showed an intense reaction, such as, "I'm doing my best to sell a positive kit. Are you crazy?", "Creatively crossing the line", and "How can people buy so messy".
