Some self-employed business owners protested against the government's restrictions on business hours and decided to open 24 hours.

The Korea Self-Employment Federation held a press conference to announce the start of business for 24 hours in front of a restaurant in Jongno-gu, Seoul at 10 pm yesterday (25th).

The group said, "We reject the order to ban business after 10:00, which kills the self-employed," and said, "We will not follow the government's unilateral administrative order without compensation."

He also urged the self-employed people who have suffered damage from the government's quarantine measures and have been driven into bankruptcy to give fair compensation as prescribed by the Constitution, saying, "We are resisting public authorities to protect our lives."

In response, the district office in charge warned that "the restaurant is violating quarantine rules," and "If the business continues, legal action will have to be taken."

Park Seong-min, president of the Korea Self-Employment Federation, said, "The restaurant that opened the proclamation ceremony will be open for 24 hours indefinitely from today."

The Korea Self-Employment Federation was established in January in response to the government's exclusion from the government's loss compensation for self-employed people with annual sales of more than 1 billion won.
