Today (23rd) around 12:04 noon, Mugunghwa train and a passenger car collided at a railroad crossing in Heungdeok-dong, Mungyeong-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do.
The Mugunghwa train was on its way from Yeongju to Gimcheon.
In the accident, two people, a woman in their 40s and a girl in the car, were seriously injured and taken to the hospital.
Railroad authorities, firefighting and police are cleaning up the accident site and investigating the exact cause of the accident.
