The policeman suspected of feminicide in Paris was arrested after three weeks on the run, Gérald Darmanin announced on Twitter on Tuesday.

The 29-year-old peacekeeper was arrested by the gendarmes in the South of France.

The policeman suspected of having killed his partner at the end of January in Paris was arrested "without incident this morning" on Tuesday after three weeks on the run, announced the Minister of the Interior Gérald Darmanin.

"The man, a policeman, suspected of having killed his partner, was arrested without incident this morning. He is now at the disposal of justice" wrote on Twitter Gérald Darmanin.

According to sources familiar with the matter, this 29-year-old peacekeeper was arrested in the South of France by the gendarmes.
