The alert was given "by walkers who noticed the start of a fire in a green waste storage area of the municipality", indicates the deputy prosecutor of the Republic of Lorient Eric Pouder in a press release.

No option is ruled out
“When they arrived on the spot, the firefighters noticed that the fire came from a human corpse”, adds the magistrate.
On the spot, the gendarmes "actually noted the presence of a body of a male person of undetermined age and identity", specifies Eruic Pouder.
"At this stage, no option (is) ruled out", underlines the vice-prosecutor of Lorient, who specifies that the research brigade of Lorient associated with the research section of Rennes is seized of a "investigation in search of causes of death".
According to a source close to the case, it would be a man in his twenties.
An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.
