A son in his 60s who assaulted his grandmother in his 80s several times has been arrested by the police.

The reason for the assault was that he was angry at his mother's nagging that he had to work to make money.

The Incheon West Police Station announced today (21st) that A (62) was booked without detention on charges of assault.

Mr. A is accused of punching his mother, Mr. B, in the face several times with fists in an apartment in Seo-gu, Incheon, where he lives, around 7 am the morning of the previous day.

It was investigated that Mr. A was not able to contain his anger at his mother's words, "You have to work to make money," and assaulted him, such as hitting his face with his fists or shaking his neck.

After receiving a report from the mother, the police rushed to the scene and arrested Mr. A as a current criminal.

Person A is known to have told the police, "Her mother was nagging and beat her with a whip."

The police have provided her mother, Mr. B, a temporary residence so that she can live separately from her Mr. A.
