A dog owner in his 80s has been sentenced to prison for carrying his dog without a leash and causing multiple dog bites without stopping the dog from running out of the house.

According to the court today (18th), Judge Park Soo-wan of the Uijeongbu District Court, the 5th independent criminal justice system, recently sentenced a woman in her 80s who was charged with violating the Animal Protection Act and negligence, to six months in prison and a fine of 4 million won.

Mr. A, who owns several dogs including Jindo dogs, took two dogs without a leash in January last year and went to the bathroom.

Also, about a month later, after going out with a Jindo dog, on the way home, the dog did not enter the house and saw the dog leaving the house, but took no action.

In April of the same year, A's dog ran out of her house and bit a passerby.

In July she goes out with her two dogs and she does not hold her on a leash herself and only ties her dogs on a leash, causing a passerby to trip over the leash and injure three weeks in the front.

Around the same time, a passerby threw food at the dog because he had fed the dog without his permission.

In the end, Mr. A was charged with the report of her victims and handed over to trial.

The court explained the reason for the sentencing, saying, "Considering the circumstances of the crime, the method, duration, and degree of damage, etc., the guilt was not light, and the fact that there was a history of being punished for the same crime several times, and the fact that the accused was not even forgiven by the victims, etc. I did.
