A man who sprayed black liquid on a passerby in the Dongdaegu area and ran away was caught by the police.
The Daegu Dongbu Police Station announced today (18th) that they have urgently arrested a man in his 40s on these charges (damage of property).
Person A is suspected of committing a crime against two passersby in a similar manner, such as spraying indelible black liquid on stockings of women in their 20s passing in front of the Dongdaegu Complex Transfer Center at around 5:50 pm on the 15th.
The police tracked down Mr. A through CCTV (closed circuit) TV analysis and arrested him in front of his house this morning.
A police official said, "We plan to apply for an arrest warrant after identifying the detailed circumstances and motives of the crime."
As a result of this incident, a recent social network service (SNS) message spread, 'Be careful when a man in his 30s or 40s is spraying black liquid on a woman alone in the Dongdaegu District Complex Transfer Center area.'
