with glitter and feathers.

From her pin-up

appearance

, no one would guess that Lady Vita (Patricia) was

until very recently an aeronautical engineer by profession

.

"Now I'm finally going to work happily, it's my passion," says this young woman who has become

an international burlesque performer, smiling.

Before, he combined the engines with performances on weekends in European countries, "such as Italy, Germany and Switzerland, because in Spain this art is not well known, while burlesque musicals abound in theaters there," he explains.

"

I sewed my own dresses

, as they are difficult to obtain, and even those of the girls who accompanied me, and I designed the entire show as a hobby".

CRISTINA ORIA'S CATERING

The businesswoman Luisa Orlando and the artist Lady Vita, creators of the Leclab.Madrid show.

By chance he came across the San Sebastian businesswoman

Luisa Orlando, director of El Club Allard for 10 years

, who was devising a concept of sophisticated decadent elegance and hired her for a private

show

.

"We connected right away," slides Orlando, decked out for the grand opening of the show in which they are a tandem with dinner at the hands of Cristina Oria, who manages the cocktail.

"She really liked what she made of her because she was a perfect fit for her private club," adds Lady Vita.

And so, with this 1920s atmosphere, Leclab.Madrid was born.

A private and exclusive club inspired by the

Golden Age

of Hollywood.

"I had had this idea around me since before the pandemic, but everything stopped and I was afraid it would never see the light," says Orlando, who has just launched the concept in a big way, even opening it to the general public on Friday nights through of its website, when it will not be essential to be a member to enter the

modernist Casa Gallardo.

A CENTENARY HOUSE

The original tapestry of the centennial house that Orlando has recovered at an auction in Ansorena.

It is located at number two Ferraz Street, in an

emblematic building from 1914

, which was awarded for architecture, and which will have different spaces to develop cultural, gastronomic and social events.

"It offers provocation and

a sophisticated atmosphere to enjoy in this renovated Plaza de España

," says Orlando, who has tried to keep the house pristine, with its original wallpaper, giving it a

vintage

look according to the event.

"An incredible team has helped me, with

Jaime Anduiza, artistic director

, who has taken care of all the details as in the cinema. It seems that it is dirty but it is not, the magic is recreated as it was 100 years ago".

He has even rescued an original tapestry at an auction in Ansorena.

In this time machine that emerges in a social context in which there is an increasing awareness of equality, will a show with an erotic tint, which introduces elements of

striptease

, work ?

Lady Vita has no doubts:

burlesque is the art of insinuation

and it has to be made known: "Every day we see much stronger things. Burlesque, although it is not understood here and is confused with cabaret, is an

elegant

show

that no one can offend. I find the reggaeton that we listen to every day more grotesque, and those video clips where they put the girl's ass on the singer, "he defends.

This is not an underground

genre

, he insists, but intended for the high

target

and sophisticated.

"I hope it starts to catch on thanks to Leclab.Madrid, and that people fall in love with retro shows and showgirls, because there's nothing like it in Spain. It's a unique experience," encourages Lady Vita.

Orlando concludes: "There are nights that are good in Madrid, but no club with capital letters.

A special and different clan

that will soon bring more international artists, with burlesque workshops, clothing sales and parties."
