The app is not unanimous.

Minister Delegate for Transport Jean-Baptiste Djebbari has asked SNCF to "resolve as soon as possible" the malfunctions of its new SNCF Connect digital application, he said on Sunday.

“What I said to the SNCF is that this transition to the Connect application, which it is true offers many more features in the medium term, was necessary.

On the other hand, there are dysfunctions that must be resolved as soon as possible, ”said Djebbari, interviewed on the CNEWS television channel.

At the SNCF, "they are committed to it, they have mobilized more than 30% of the workforce to answer a certain number of requests on the telephone", observed the minister responsible for the railway company.

An improvement by the end of March

The day before, the CEO of SNCF Jean-Pierre Farandou had promised that improvements would be made by the end of March to this application criticized for its lack of ergonomics and its malfunctions.

Djebbari was careful not to overwhelm the SNCF, observing that "it's a transition, all transitions are sometimes a little complicated".

“But in the long term, in the medium term and in what I hope will be the shortest possible time, in any case that is what I asked them, there is no doubt that this new application will offer much more features," he said.
