The National Courier Workers' Union (KCTU) announced that it will continue to occupied the headquarters and continue the struggle until CJ Logistics responds to the dialogue.

The courier union held a press conference in front of CJ Korea Express headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul today (14th) and said, "CJ Korea Express will stop making false claims, refusing to talk, and killing the union, and start dialogue immediately." "He said.

From the 15th of this month, all union members participating in the strike will go to Tokyo to fight indefinitely by holding rallies, campaigns, and candlelight festivals in downtown Seoul.

In addition, on the 21st of this month, union members holding strike rights at the Post Office, Lotte, Hanjin, and Rosen Courier will hold a one-day strike, and 7,000 members of the National Courier Union will visit Tokyo to hold a delivery workers' conference.

In addition, if CJ Logistics continues to refuse to talk after the 21st, we plan to consider expanding the strike to the entire parcel delivery union.

The courier union held a temporary meeting of delegates and decided to issue bonds to support the livelihood of strike union members.

“CJ Korea Express is using the social consensus that was made difficult to solve the problem of overworked delivery workers,” said Jin Kyung-ho, chairman of the Korea Express Courier Union. "He said.

About 200 courier union members demanded dialogue from CJ Logistics, and at around 11:30 am on the 10th, they took over the headquarters of CJ Logistics and started a sit-down.

The union members have occupied the first and third floors inside the headquarters and have been protesting for the fifth day.

The CJ Logistics Headquarters, a labor union, went on strike on December 28 last year to properly implement the social agreement to prevent death from overwork.

The union's argument is that the company is taking care of most of the increase in courier charges.

In this regard, CJ Logistics filed a complaint with the police against the parcel delivery union for damage to property, obstruction of business, and invasion of buildings.

CJ Logistics requested the government to check whether quarantine rules were followed, saying that some occupants were smoking and eating inside the building after taking off their masks through an entrance statement.

The police will try to persuade the union to evict voluntarily and resolve the problem through dialogue between labor and management, while taking strict action against illegal activities.
