Good news for “Wii Sports” fans!
The legendary Wii game will make a comeback… in a Switch version, reveals BFM Business.
Nintendo made the announcement on Wednesday during the first Nintendo Direct of 2022. The Japanese manufacturer thus presented new games and expansions to come for Nintendo Switch owners.
Among them: the remastered version of the game “Wii Sports
”
.
The title, at the time of the Wii, had sold nearly 82 million copies.
In this new version, dubbed “Switch Sports”, players will be able to practice in multiple sports such as tennis, badminton but also the basics such as golf, bowling and baseball.
Other games will also be added, such as goal shooting with a giant ball and volleyball.

New tracks in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
It will be possible to play “Switch Sports
”
locally but also online with friends or players from all over the world.
For now, the release date of the game has not yet been revealed.
On Wednesday, Nintendo also announced that a new sports game, devoted to football, was going to be available.
Titled “Mario Strikers: Battle League Football,” the game is slated for release on June 10.
Another novelty, and not the least, concerns the latest opus “Mario Kart 8 Deluxe”.
The Japanese firm has announced that 48 additional circuits will be available.
Be careful though, it will not really be new circuits since they come from previous titles in the franchise.
They received a remaster for the Switch.
Finally, eagerly awaited by fans, the game “Kirby and the Forgotten World”
will be released on March 25.
