At the trial of former Prime Minister Han Myung-sook, the High-ranking Public Officials Crime Investigation Office acquitted Yoon Seok-yeol, who was accused of obstructing investigations during his time as prosecutor general, in connection with the allegation that the prosecution gave false testimony to witnesses.



The Ministry of Airborne Affairs did not acknowledge the abuse of power accusing candidate Yoon on the grounds that it is the prosecutor-general's authority to designate an investigation department.



While Candidate Yoon's side said that it was a meaningful decision that was reconfirmed that there was no illegality, Prosecutor Lim Eun-jung, who claimed the suspicion of obstruction of the investigation, said that he would file an appeal, an appeal procedure.
