The court issued an arrest warrant for Kwak Sang-do, a former lawmaker who is accused of receiving 2.5 billion won through his son in return for helping the Daejang-dong project and receiving 50 million won in illegal political funds from lawyer Nam-wook around the April 2016 general election.

Former lawmaker Kwak has denied the allegations, but the court explained the reason for his arrest, saying, "The criminal charges are clarified and there is a risk of destroying evidence."
