Apple releases its new personal protection guide

Apple has released a new personal protection guide that can help prevent iOS and Android users from being stalked.

The tech giant has updated its Personal Security Guide with useful information on how iOS and Android users can protect themselves and their information.

"The user guide is a personal safety resource for anyone who is concerned about or facing technology abuse, stalking or harassment," the company wrote on its website.

The guide includes a section on how people can check if they have unknown tags on their device, and what to do if they receive a strange notification.

The guide also includes instructions for Android users on how to check for AirTag from apps on the Google Play Store.

"Both AirTag and Find My Network are designed with privacy at their core, the accessories contain unique Bluetooth identifiers that change frequently to discourage unwanted tracking," the company added.
