A 17-year-old young man was shot and wounded by the municipal police in Longjumeau in Essonne on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday.

According to the Evry prosecutor's office, he tried to reach the police with his vehicle, and one of them then retaliated by using his weapon twice.

His vital prognosis not engaged 

The vital prognosis of the injured is not engaged, but the firefighters, who intervened a little after 10 p.m., explained that he had been taken to the hospital, while the municipal police officer concerned was examined on the spot.

An investigation for refusal to comply with endangerment of others was opened and entrusted to the Massy police station, said the Evry prosecution.

Another aimed at determining the conditions of the shootings was entrusted to the departmental security.
