A teenage Korean boy on the wanted list of Interpol (International Criminal Police Agency) for making and distributing sexual exploitation of minors has been arrested in Vietnam.

On the 22nd local time, local media such as VN Express reported that the Interpol Secretariat had arrested a 16-year-old Korean national who had issued an international wanted warrant and delivered it to the Korean police.

Group A is charged with accessing victims through social media in March and April of last year, having them take and send obscene videos and photos, and then edit them and upload them to an adult site to make money.

Group A was on the Interpol wanted list on July 22, last year, for the charge.

In Korea, some victims' families reported the damage to the police, but they were unable to secure a recruit for Army A.

After about a month of investigation, Vietnamese police found out that the parents of group A live in an apartment in Ho Chi Minh City. However, group A did not live with his parents and even his whereabouts were unknown.

In response, the Vietnamese police conducted an additional investigation to determine what group A was wearing, and decided that group A would visit their parents' house, so they hid nearby and returned to their parents' house on December 19th at around 6 pm local time. Army A was arrested.

A Vietnamese police official said, "Gun A entered Vietnam with his parents in 2017 and lived in various parts of the southern part of the country.

On the 21st of local time, Vietnamese police handed over arrested Army A to the Korean police through Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City.
