Today (21st) around 3pm, a big fire broke out at a car battery manufacturing plant in Ochang-eup, Cheongwon-gu, Cheongju-si, Chungcheongbuk-do.
A firefighter official said, "Two out of three people in the building were rescued, but one is estimated to be isolated."
The fire department has issued the second stage of response as of 3:40 pm.
A fire department official added, "It is presumed that it was an explosion."
The fire department has dispatched 16 fire trucks and 40 personnel to the site, but it is known that access to the factory is quite difficult due to the fire.
