A man in his 40s who secretly took pictures of a woman's body with a tiny 2cm camera between his toes has been sentenced to four years in prison. 



According to the court today (20th), the 11th Criminal Division of Suwon District Court (Chief Judge Kim Yu-rang) sentenced a man in his 40s who was charged with violating the Act on Special Cases concerning the Punishment of Sexual Violence Crimes (filming with a camera, etc.) to 4 years in prison. .

In addition, he was ordered to complete 120 hours of sexual violence treatment program, to notify the disclosure of personal information for 5 years, and to restrict employment for 5 years. 



From March to June last year, Mr. A was handed over to trial on charges of illegally filming the body of an unspecified number of women while walking around the streets, restaurants, and cafes in Cheoin-gu, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do. 



Mr. A is also accused of illegally filming against employees of the company he operates since 2014.

It has been identified that 12,600 photos and 245 videos were taken illegally by Mr. A over the past 7 years. 



He was found to have intercepted the camera by putting a 2cm-sized camera between his toes and wearing thin socks and slippers.




The court pointed out, "Some victims considered Mr. A's actions suspicious, but they were unable to find clear clues and had to suffer from anxiety and fear." 



He said, "The sexual humiliation, displeasure, and psychological shock that many victims of unspecified identity will feel if they find out about Mr. A's crime are expected to be significant."
