The Chungnam Police Agency announced today (19th) that it will release the identity of 27-year-old Cho Hyun-jin, who is accused of wielding a knife and killing a woman who announced the breakup.



The Chungnam National Police Agency held a personal disclosure deliberation committee with 7 members including external experts today and decided to disclose Mr. Cho's identity.



Cho is suspected of running away after swinging a knife at A in the bathroom of victim A's residence in Seongjeong-dong, Seobuk-gu, Cheonan-si, around 9 p.m. on the 12th.



The victim was taken to a hospital and died while receiving treatment.



At the time, Mr. A's studio was also with his mother from his hometown the day before, but it is known that Mr. Cho entered the studio and took Mr. A to the bathroom and locked the door, saying, "We have a mother, let's talk in the bathroom."



The police explained that there is sufficient evidence for the allegations of Jo, and that the identity of Jo will be disclosed in consideration of the brutality of the crime.



A police official said, "If you disclose Cho's family or people around you on social media, you may be subject to criminal punishment."
