A 45-year-old employee of the Seoul Design Foundation, a foundation of the Seoul Metropolitan Government, moved his department in May of last year.

The incident in which the boss of the same department kicked Mr. A in the office was recognized as workplace harassment, and the company decided to separate him from the perpetrator.

After coordination with the HR team, Mr. A decided to go to the department where Mr. B, the boss, who was also a grievance counselor at work, was located.

But, knowing this, Mr. B claims that he said something unexpected.

[Mr. A / Victim of harassment at work: What did you do (report)? How are you going to do your job in the future? Don't try to be comfortable with our team. In

the future, only the image you reported will accumulate.]

He says that after the appointment of personnel, the harassment continued even while working in the same department.

[Mr. A/victim of bullying at work: This XX swears a lot like this, and swears at my fingers while calling my name.]

[Mr. A/victim of bullying at work (After the weekly meeting on September 6, 2021) Interview) : (You posted on KakaoTalk to help) That's me... (No, it's XX.) Don't say XX.]

Person A eventually informed the HR team that she was being harassed again.

But since then, Mr. A says, boss B has started not accepting applications for overtime pay.

He told me not to work overtime in the future because he only entrusted me with tasks that could be completed during the day.

Regarding this, Mr. B explained, "What I said at the time of the HR move was not intended to be a second offense, and it was advice I gave because I was worried about Mr. A's work life."

He also apologized for accidentally using profanity once, and said, "I was given a minimal amount of work for the sake of Mr. A's health, but he only refused it because he worked overtime."

After receiving the report from Mr. A, the Labor Administration notified that Mr. B's some actions were workplace harassment and advised improvement guidance.

[Mr. A / Victim of bullying at work: I felt insulted and humiliated, the gap in my identity, and many other things.

I am still taking medicine because I cannot sleep.]

The foundation said, "We plan to hold a personnel committee to discuss disciplinary action," and "to prevent recurrence, we will strengthen education for all department heads."
