While the search for the missing person resumed this morning, one missing person was found a while ago.



A fire department official said, "The missing person was found on the railing of a collapsed basement apartment."



Rescuers who were searching the site visually confirmed the missing person who was crushed by concrete rubble, the official said.



Rescue teams are said to be working to remove debris to rescue the missing.



The fire and rescue team will try to enter between the 26th and 28th floors, where the rescue dog showed an unusual reaction earlier, to find the remaining missing persons.



The cell phones of the remaining missing persons were all confirmed to be turned off.

Gwangju Metropolitan City has issued an administrative order to suspend construction at 5 construction sites under Hyundai Industrial Development.

A search and seizure was conducted on three subcontractors in charge of this construction.



The police first summoned and investigated five people related to Hyundai Industrial Development, a subcontractor, and a supervisor.



The key is to investigate whether the concrete work, pointed out as one of the causes of collapse, was unreasonably carried out in cold weather.



It has been confirmed that the construction site has been subject to fines for negligence in 27 cases out of 386 complaints received since May 2019.
