It was confirmed that the police recently received a random submission of CCTV inside the Osstem Implant company and started to analyze it.

This is to confirm whether there was any actual intervention, as Mo. Lee, a money management employee, stated that he embezzled funds under the direction of a superior and had exclusive dealings with the chairman.

It is said that Mr. Lee did not present concrete evidence to support the allegation of intervention by the superior in the police investigation.

The police also secured seven cell phones used by Mr. Lee and are intensively looking for accomplices in conspiring to embezzle him.

Four out of seven were found damaged, and restoration work and forensic work are being carried out.

Some of these have been confirmed to have been opened under the name of the vehicle.

Lee's embezzlement amount increased to 221.5 billion won.

Osstem Implant made an additional announcement today, saying that in the company's own investigation, it was confirmed that Mr. Lee took money back in the fourth quarter of 2020 as well.

In the fourth quarter of 2020, 23.5 billion won was stolen 55 billion won from March to September last year, and 143 billion won in October.

The police believe that the last 143 billion won, embezzlement, was committed in order to repay the amount before the compulsory disposition after buying Dongjin Semicam stock in an unattended transaction last October.

We are also investigating whether there has been any undisclosed information or fraudulent transactions regarding the purchase of a large number of stocks on credit even when there is no money on hand.

Meanwhile, the case in which Osstem Implant's chairman and CEO were accused of embezzlement and violating the Capital Market Act was assigned to the Gangseo Police Station, which is investigating Mr. Lee.
