The representative of the Children's Sports Center, who was arrested on charges of using a stick to murder an employee in a bizarre way, claimed that he could not remember the exact circumstances of the crime because he was intoxicated at the time.

The Seodaemun Police Station in Seoul announced yesterday (4th) that it had obtained a statement from suspect A (41) on the day of the incident, "I remember reporting to the police and being angry with the police officer who was dispatched."

However, Mr. A is known to claim that he was intoxicated at the time and that he does not remember the rest of the situation.

Person A was arrested on the 2nd of last month on charges of killing an employee in his 20s (murder) by piercing a 70cm-long plastic stick for education at the children's sports center in Seodaemun-gu, which he runs, into the body of employee B in his twenties.

Person A made the first call to 112 on the day of the incident, saying, "A man is beating my sister" around 2:10 a.m.

When six police officers arrived at the scene, Mr. A was drunk and changed his words, saying, "I never reported it like that."

However, as a result of the CCTV check by the police, Mr. A was assaulting employee B while reporting. At that time, the police who received the 112 call also left a note stating that 'a loud noise is heard over the phone'.

When the police dispatched to the scene found Mr. B lying down with only a long-sleeved top and no bottoms, Mr. A said, "It's our employee, and he's sleeping drunk."

The police who covered Mr. B with clothes checked his pulse, etc.

At that time, it was reported by the police officers on the scene that there were no bruises or trauma marks on the victim's face or legs.

As the police were preparing to evacuate, Mr. A approached the lying victim, bowed his back and stroked his face.

Then, wearing only short sleeves, he approached the police car and got on the back seat and got off, continuing the journey.

After the police left, he returned to the sports center and fell asleep while trying to put on his coat, and it was confirmed that no one had left the center for 6 hours.

Afterwards, Mr. A reported to 119, saying, "I woke up from sleep and the employee was unconscious" at around 9 am, and the police dispatched with a firefighter urgently arrested Mr. A on the charge of assault and murder.

The National Forensic Research Institute, which performed an autopsy on Mr. B's body, delivered the first oral findings to the police that he appeared to have died due to ruptures in his rectum, gallbladder, liver, and heart, and the police changed the charge of Mr. A to murder.

The police are investigating the exact circumstances and motives of the crime by analyzing cell phones and vehicle black boxes that were arbitrarily submitted by Mr.
