Police arrested a 20-year-old man who assaulted the bus driver for refusing to ride, pulled out the bus key and threw it onto the road.

The Seoul Gwanak Police Station announced today (14th) that it had booked a man in his 20s for violating the Act on Aggravated Punishment of Specific Crimes (driver assault) and obstruction of business.

Person A is accused of assaulting a bus driver in Gwanak-gu, Seoul around 3 pm on the 5th, pulling out the bus key and throwing it on the road to disrupt the operation.

As a result of the investigation, when the bus driver refused his request, Mr. A got on another vehicle, overtook the bus, waited at the next stop, and got on the bus.

Mr. A's request to board was made after the bus had already left the stop.

It was investigated that Mr. A, who got on the bus, insulted the driver and said, "Why didn't you pick me up?" and hit the face.

In the process, it was confirmed that Mr. A took the car key from the bus and threw it on the road.

As the bus operation became difficult in this situation, all 20 passengers got off and had to change to another bus.

A police official said, "Currently, we are investigating the damage situation of passengers."
