In Korea, the number of people infected with the Omicron mutation, a new mutant virus of COVID-19, increased by 12, bringing the total to 75.



The Central Quarantine Countermeasures Headquarters (Bangdaebon) announced that as of 00:00 on the 11th, 12 additional Omicron mutation infections were confirmed.



Of the 12 additional confirmed cases, 4 were imported cases and 8 were domestic cases.



Two out of four foreign immigrants are from South Africa, and one each is from Nigeria and Iran.



As a result, the cumulative number of infections in Korea has risen to 75, including 63 who were confirmed as mutated until the previous day.



According to the route of infection, 19 cases were imported from abroad and 56 cases were domestically infected.



Most of the domestic confirmed cases and suspected cases of Omicron mutation confirmed by the previous day are related to the Michuhol-gu Church in Incheon.



The omicron mutation infection, which spread from Mr. A, a pastor of this church, has spread to the 5th infection, including Mr. A's acquaintances, church members, and local community residents.
