Recently, on popular social media platforms such as YouTube, you can often find videos of teenagers wearing school uniforms taking on the lead roles and participating in experiments or surveys.

It was pointed out that some of these videos could spread the distorted coming-of-age consciousness of the youth.

Taktin Tomorrow (hereafter Taktin Tomorrow) conducted gender equality monitoring for 78 YouTube videos featuring children and teenagers for two months.

400 times if you count the number of times.

In the short 8-minute video, sexually discriminatory, appearance-oriented, and sexually harassing remarks appeared 90 times.

After evaluating the body of a man with his shirt off, or watching a sexual video, he spit out sexually harassing remarks, saying, "My chest is like a watermelon."

In the beginning, there were 13 videos with sexist content as the core theme.

Taktin Tomorrow announced that it has selected the monitoring target based on the most watched popular channels from the age of 9 to 24 through the YouTube ranking site.

Taktin Tomorrow will be held on Thursday (9th) at 2 pm "2021 Gender Equality Mass Media Monitoring Results Reporting - Focusing on YouTube Games, Children and Youth Appearing Channels".

The above report will be broadcast live online after pre-registration is required.
