The first trial of four key figures in Daejang-dong was held after being postponed twice.

Only Yoo Dong-gyu, former head of Seongnam Urban Development Corporation, attended with his attorney in person, while Hwacheon Daeyu major shareholder Man-bae Kim, Attorney Nam-wook, and Accountant Jeong Young-hak were brought to court instead.

While former General Manager Yoo and Mr. Kim and Mr. Nam did not reveal whether they acknowledged the charges because they could not check the records of the prosecution's investigation,

[Kim Kuk-il / Attorney General Yoo Dong-gyu: We have not seen the record yet, so we cannot answer. I'm sorry. .] At the

beginning of the investigation, accountant Jeong Young-hak, who worked with the prosecution by providing 19 transcripts, admitted the charges from the first day.

Accountant Jung said, "I am afraid of being stigmatized, but I generally admit the allegations," and said that they would cooperate with the trial.

On the other hand, Nam's side said, "There are quite a lot of transcripts, but it is necessary to take time to strictly judge the evidence capacity," and foreshadowed a fierce battle over the evidence capability of the transcripts.

In addition, the main issue of the trial is whether the four people admitted to the breach of trust that they caused damage to Seongnam City by driving over KRW 110 billion of profits from distribution of housing land development and more than KRW 110 billion to Hwacheon Daeyu.

As Yoo's detention expires in April next year, the court plans to speed up the trial of the case with the goal of adjudicated in the first instance before that.
