According to the government, the target age group for the youth quarantine pass (certificate of inoculation and negative confirmation), which will be applied from February next year, is from January 1, 2003 to December 31, 2009.

When the government announced measures for the youth quarantine pass the day before, confusion arose because it was not clear whether the applicable age was based on the age of manna or the age of the youngest, but it was confirmed that it was based on the year of birth.

Applicable subjects are from the 6th grade of elementary school to the 3rd grade of high school as of this year, and based on next year when the actual quarantine pass is implemented, it applies from the first year of middle school.

Vaccinations are currently in full swing for these age groups.

The '12-17 years old' (born 2004-2009) age group was divided into two groups, '16-17 years old' (born 2004-2005) and '12-15 years old' (born 2006-2009), respectively. Vaccinations started sequentially from November 1.

Currently, all age groups are taking additional advance reservations by 6pm on the 31st.

Children and adolescents who have participated in advance reservations can designate the inoculation date by January 22, next year.

As of today, the primary vaccination rate for 12-17 year olds is 48.0%, and the completion rate is 29.8%.

Those born in 2003, who are in their third year of high school, have already been vaccinated since last July in consideration of the college entrance schedule, such as the college scholastic ability test.

Meanwhile, those born in 2010, who are currently in the 5th grade of elementary school, are not eligible for the quarantine pass.

They will reach the recommended age for vaccination from next year, but considering the vaccination interval and antibody formation period, it is practically difficult to complete the vaccination before February, when the quarantine pass is implemented, so they were excluded from the quarantine pass.
