A young woman, bitten several times by her three mastiffs in Montgeron (Essonne), was taken to hospital between life and death, a police source said on Thursday.

The 18-year-old was on Wednesday around 8 p.m. in the garden of the family home with cousins ​​and without her parents when her dogs were attacked, another police source said.

"A friend rang the doorbell and the dogs attacked", according to the police, who said they had found the young victim in cardio-ventilatory arrest.

Hit in the throat

Three officers had to use their weapons to subdue the dogs, of the Staffordshire type, while the other three took the young victim to shelter and provided him with first aid, according to corroborating sources.

In particular, injured in the throat, the victim was transported to the hospital, his vital prognosis engaged, while his three cousins ​​are receiving psychological care.

The mastiffs have been captured, a police source concluded.
