few months ago, the prosecution demanded the death penalty for a man in his 20s who killed the daughter of his 20-month-old cohabitation woman and ran away with her body in the house.

Mo, a 29-year-old woman who, while drunk, assaulted and murdered her 20-month-old daughter while intoxicated, put her body in an icebox with her cohabiting girlfriend and hid it in a bathroom inside the house.



Prosecutors demanded the death penalty for Yang, who was handed over to trial.



They also demanded drug treatment for sexual impulses for 15 years, attachment of a location tracking device for 45 years, employment restrictions at child-related organizations for 10 years, completion of a sexual violence treatment program, and an order to disclose personal information.



He emphasized the need to punish Yang by law so that he cannot live together in our society by showing bizarre behavior such as meeting friends and enjoying nightlife after a brutal crime.



The prosecution's death sentence was met with applause from the audience.



Yang's lawyer, on the other hand, said that at the time of the crime, Yang was drunk and asked to take into account that it was not a planned crime and that he was abused as a child.

Meanwhile, the prosecution requested a five-year prison sentence for the woman who lived with her, including the concealment of the body.



In a situation where voices calling for severe punishment for the accused are high, the Daejeon District Court will proceed with the first trial on the 22nd.
