“When a new strain appears, we always synthesize the sequence, insert it into the adenovirus vector and store it in the refrigerator,” Gunzburg said.
The scientist clarified that this is "only synthesizing."
“How many strains there were, so many we did it,” he said.
Earlier, Gunzburg said that experimental work on obtaining a new version of the vaccine against the omicron coronavirus strain will take no more than ten days, followed by regulatory procedures.
