Today (26th), poll results showed that the percentage of people who consider themselves progressives has decreased compared to when the government was impeached, while the number of conservatives increased.

As a result of a comprehensive analysis of 4 surveys conducted by Gallup Korea in November (for a total of 4,05 people), 22% of them answered that their political orientation was 'progressive'.

In this survey, remuneration accounted for 30% and moderates accounted for 33%, respectively.

Compared to the October survey, liberals decreased by 1 percentage point, while conservatives increased by 2 percentage points.

Compared to January 2017 (37%), when the impeachment scandal of Gukjeong Nongdan started in earnest, the proportion of people who consider themselves progressive has decreased by 15 percentage points.

In the survey at the time, remuneration was recorded at 27%.

In January 2017, the median rate was 26%.

At the time of Gukjeong Nongdan, the middle class was relatively thin and there were more liberals and conservatives.

Since then, the middle class has increased to around 30%.

Those who answered themselves as conservatives were 25% of the total in January of this year alone, lagging behind liberals (28%).

However, the rate was tied at 26% in July, and the percentage of conservatives has been ahead of the progressives since August.

In recent years, the gap is widening as conservatives increase and progressives decrease.

Meanwhile, in a survey conducted by Gallup Korea on the 23rd and 25th, 37% of the total respondents evaluated the performance of the president positively.

This is a 3 percentage point increase from last week.

On the other hand, the negative evaluation rate fell 4 percentage points to 55%.

The Democratic Party's approval rating rose by 3 percentage points to 32%, and the People's Power fell by 5 percentage points to 34%.

Gallup Korea said, "In the past month, the range of support between the two parties has fluctuated greatly, and the gap has also fluctuated between 2 percentage points and 10 percentage points.
